Who can use Slab

You must be at least 13. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you. Your account is for you alone, and you sign in through your email, so keep that email account secure.

Your collection is public

Your handle, your slabs' details and their photos can be seen by anyone, including people who aren't signed in. Your notes, acquired dates and email address stay private. Don't add anything to a slab that you want to keep to yourself, other than in those private fields.

Your content

The photos and information you add stay yours. You give us permission to store, copy, resize and display them, including publicly, as needed to run Slab. That permission ends when you delete them, apart from copies that remain in backups for a short time.

Only upload photos you took yourself or have permission to use. Don't upload other people's photos, including images from listings or other sites, without their permission.

What's not allowed

Don't use Slab to break the law; to upload content that isn't yours to share; to impersonate anyone, including with your handle; to post offensive, hateful or harassing content; to enter false information about slabs to mislead others; or to interfere with Slab, for example by overloading it, scraping it, getting around its limits or security, or creating accounts or sending sign-in emails automatically.

We may change or reclaim a handle that impersonates someone, infringes a trademark or is offensive, and remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms.

About Slab

Slab is an independent place to track and show graded card collections. It is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Creatures, GAME FREAK, PSA, Beckett, CGC or SGC; their names and trademarks belong to them. Grades, cert numbers and card details come from you or from graders' records, and we don't guarantee they're accurate. Slab doesn't authenticate slabs.

Buying and selling on Slab aren't available yet. When they are, they'll come with their own terms, which you'll be asked to accept before you buy or sell. Until then, any deal you make with someone you found on Slab is between the two of you.

Changes to Slab

We may change, pause or stop parts of Slab. If we ever shut Slab down, we'll give notice and time to download your collection first. Slab is free, and we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. We may suspend or delete an account that breaks these terms.

Disclaimers and liability

Slab is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data or profits, and our total liability to you for anything to do with Slab is limited to $100.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we'll update the date at the top. For significant changes, we'll let you know by email or on Slab before they take effect. Continuing to use Slab after that means you accept them.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any dispute is for the state or federal courts located in California.
